-
Every event is run as an official Open competition and counts toward your National Handicap.
-
All players must hold an official WHS handicap and be members of a recognised golf club to be eligible for the main tournament and handicap prizes.
-
Tees will vary by venue, with the aim of having each course played between 6,000 and 6,500 yards.
-
The field will be split into handicap sections based on the range of entrants. If numbers allow, we may also add a Seniors section (age-based). All sections will be confirmed and communicated once entries are complete.
-
Each player will compete in four regional qualifying events, followed by one Final event of their choice.
-
The objective is to accumulate the highest possible Stableford points across your five scoring rounds.
-
At registration, you must nominate the four events you want to count toward your Series score. These selections can be changed later if needed, but due to limited availability at some venues, we need your initial choices to guarantee your places.
-
Players are welcome to enter additional events beyond their four scorers.
-
All extra rounds still count for handicap purposes.
-
Only your nominated four qualifiers count toward your Series total.
-
Additional events cost £20–£55 per round, depending on venue.
-
By entering the Golf In Scotland Series, every player is committing to four qualifiers plus one Final Day.
-
Once you register, we secure tee times at your chosen Final venue. For this reason, if you withdraw later there is no guarantee of a refund, although we will always do our best to fill your spot.
-
Full tournament fees must be paid before competing in any Final Day.
-
Golf In Scotland reserves the right to adjust the format if required, with all players notified of any changes.
