We held our first event at Leven Links Golfing Society on Sunday the 4th of May.

We had 96 players at Leven and although things were a little slow due to 4 ball groups the feedback from the players was all positive.

The weather was favourable for scoring with very little wind and only a shower of rain throughout the day. Competition Standard Scratch came in at 72 and our top scorer on the day shot 42 stableford points.

Martin Keith on the 5 th hole winning a £50 voucher for Nevada Bob’s ( 2 bonus stableford points for closest to the pin )

Our longest drive champion of Leven Links was Mr Alastair Robertson.

The bandit got absolutely gubbed in the Beat the Bandit Challenge. A large portion of the field won a sleeve of golf balls and the grand prize will be drawn later today and announced on Facebook.

Our resident cameraman failed to capture many birdies on birdycam, he did however catch a giant one handed putt from James Hogg on the 18 th, you will be able to view this online very soon :)

Event number 2 took place over Burntisland Golf Course, a fantastic course with some tricky holes and brilliant greens.

We had 65 players on the day and competition scratch was 71.

Sean Batty should give up predicting the weather, yet again we had a fair day for golf with only a little shower to moisten things up :)

Our top scorer on the day was Thomas Curwood with 39 points - Big Stix even managed to capture one of his birdies on camera :)

The bandit played a little better this week with only 13 defeats, Wilson Golf have regained condfidence and will continue to sponsor our events :)
